SRAM DUB Bottom Bracket Preload ADJ Kit The SRAM DUB bottom bracket preload adjuster kit is used to adjust the bottom bracket bearing preload on SRAM DUB cranks. The kit includes one screw, the outer ring, and two inner rings. One inner ring has a flange and the other does not. The inner ring with a flange is designed for XX1 and X01 Dub cranks (except when installing on a fat bike). To adjust the preload of your cranks, rotate the outer ring until it stops from contacting the shield. Next, tighten the bolt in the outer ring to secure the cranks. This should eliminate any play the crankset has. Do not overtighten the preload adjuster or bearing damage could occur.
