This is the first modern 650b (27.5") MTB frame ever produced - debuted at NAHBS in 2007 - launching the mid-sized wheel platform. This titanium frame was built by Kent Eriksen and flawlessly welded by Brad Bingham (of Eriksen / Bingham Built) for Kirk Pacenti. The frame has been ridden hard but very well maintained. The paint shows plenty of wear. A new paint job is possible to restore to it's original condition (for an additional cost). The provenance is undisputed, one owner, with independent documentation of the frame's history in Dirt Rag (issue #131 November, 2007) and 1,001 Bicycles to Dream of Riding, both publications will be included with the frame. An interesting snap-shot of recent MTB history and a great addition to any MTB collection.
The geometry is approximately:
19" Seat Tube
24.5" Top Tube
72*/72* HTA / STA
17.25" Chainstay
55mm Drop
**I have updated this ad to include a lightly used and professionally maintained X-Fusion Velvet R fork, at no additional cost.**
