Kona Libre Carbon Fiber Medium Gravel Bike Frame

This is a 2019 model that had the top tube damaged in a bike rack mishap. My wife needed a bike right away and the repair was going to take 6-8 weeks. We live near one of the finest Carbon Fiber specialists in the country. The repair was done by Calfee Design. They are the same folks that made Greg LeMond’s Tour de France winning Carbon frames in the 1990’s. They have continued to advance the art of carbon fiber and even bamboo construction of bicycle frames. The frame was inspected and is guaranteed for 10 years by Calfee Design.

I left the top tube unpainted, but it is smooth at the transition from paint to pure Carbon and it is clear-coated for durability. This was done by Calfee Design.

This frame alone on the Kona website retails at $2000. It uses the Kona Racelite Carbon and includes the Verso Full Carbon flat mount disc fork. It includes a Kona branded 31.6mm seatpost and collar. It has an FSA brand headset. It will require a press in style bottom bracket which is not included. I have also included two water bottle cages, one of which has been modified so a total of 3 cages can be used on those extra thirsty rides.

The frame is referred to as a 54 which should fit riders 5’6”-5’11”. The seat tube length from center of BB to tip top of seat tube is 510mm. Because it is a “disc bike” you can use either 650b or 700c wheels. And it fits very wide tires! We had 47x700c on it with still more room to play.

If you are closer, shipping will be less. I’m not sure how much less, but I’ll refund you the difference. I’m not trying to make money on the shipping.
