Welcome back to another edition of Seller of the Week: the blog series where we ask our favorite sellers five easy questions!
Sal from Great American Bicycles is an experienced bike collector and restorer living in Thousand Oaks, California. He specializes in 90s mountain bikes and has listed some awesome Klein and Gary Fisher bikes on our site!

How did you get into bikes?
I have been collecting bikes for over 30 years and am now specializing in vintage American mountain bikes from the 90s. Why? Three reasons. The style, technology and unique paint customization of that era were groundbreaking then and still are to this day.

What bike do you ride the most?
My go to ride is a 1995 Klein Pulse II in ebony Black. This was the lightest mountain bike ever made by Klein–an “ an out of the box racer” as described in Klein catalog.

What is your favorite bike ride?
I love to take the mighty Klein up to Chesebro Road in Agoura Hills. It’s not far from where MTB Legend John Parker started Yeti Cycles.

Campy or Shimano?
Shimano! M-900 1990 era XTR is bullet proof.

Any big plans for the next year?
I acquired a Cannondale Cujo Neo with Bosh motor E Bike pedal assist. I will be riding the red beast more next year as it opens more trail opportunities with the pedal assist.
