Vintage Trek 720 Multitrack Chromoly Frameset

This is a frame and fork of a 1996 Trek 720 Multitrack. It was originally designed and marketed as a hybrid, back when that meant a machine that could do anything, that could take you across town or across the continent. Unlike today, when hybrid usually means cheap and heavy and breaks down a lot.

This frameset is made of nearly indestructible chromoly tubing, has a kickass blue fade paint job, a classic double diamond frame, and clearance for thick supple tires. Would make a great city commuter or townie cruiser if you add a wide sweptback handlebar. But it's actually perfect for a budget gravel or even touring bike build. Hence the name Multitrack, meaning it can go from pavement to backroads with ease.
