This very special bike is part of American bicycle film history, and was loaned to Marin Museum of Bicycling for display for three years. It had been awarded to John Garber, cycling consultant for the 1985 movie “American Flyers,” after filming was complete. Garber appeared in the movie as a dastardly Russian Olympian, Sergei Belov. In a photo below you can read the museum placard with more information about this bike and its maker.
