Pretty sure this is the 88.5/92mm "A" variant - the "B" variety for Shimano was for road bike use.
Used, unsure of mileage, but I don't think it is that high, because this came off of a bike with a Shimano XT 2x10sp group that was upgraded to 1x11sp not long after it was purchased. This has been sitting in my parts bin since. Bearings are smooth and show no sign of wear. The plastic sleeve does have a chunk missing as noted, I'm unsure how that happened and don't think it affects performance.
