Salsa Rustler Carbon SLX

Rustler C SLX is a 27.5 full suspension mountain bike with a focus on maximizing trail fun. A carbon frame, 27.5" wheels, and geometry designed for a lively ride means this is a bike that comes ready to play. Rustler uses a Split Pivot suspension design for 130 mm of rear travel that is supple over small bumps, supportive on bigger hits, and delivers traction when braking, accelerating, and climbing technical terrain so you're less likely to spin out. Rustler also comes with space for a full-size water bottle and a top tube mount that accommodates all manner of ride accessories. Shimano's proven SLX drivetrain and four-piston brakes keep every ride smooth and reliable. KEY FEATURES: SPLIT PIVOT(R) REAR SUSPENSION SYSTEM: Split Pivot provides a host of impressive suspension characteristics because the system isolates pedaling forces and braking forces from each other, allowing us to tune and optimize the bike for both independently. The concentric rear axle pivot, in conjunction with precise wheel link, brake link, and control link placement, results in: Excellent bump compliance / Incredible pedaling efficiency / Smooth and predictable braking throughout travel / Maximum traction. ON-BIKE STORAGE: Salsa innovated new bottle and accessory mount placements for added utility and ride range. Our gravel and road bikes have mounts on the top tube and underside of the down tube, plus up to five additional bottle mounts for extra hydration, ride accessories, and bikepacking gear. Our mountain bike line features top tube mounts, mounts on the underside of the down tube on hardtail models, and space for multiple bottles on hardtails and select suspension bikes. FRAME PROTECTION: We use various materials to protect our frames and forks from damage, whether it's a rock strike on the trail or thick, abrasive mud on your favorite gravel route.
