For sale is a 55cm Rivendell Sam Hillborne frameset. Rivendell markets this model as a country bike, which means it handles well on the road but has clearance for up to 45mm tire in case you want to take on a gravel ride as well. This frame is fully lugged and is designed around a rear wheel with a 135mm quick release hub. The frame is designed around Tektro long-reach brakes and a set of those is included with this sale. Seat post diameter is 27.2mm The seat tube measures 55 cm and the effective top tube is 57 cm. There is scuffing on the seat tube where a front derailleur was installed along with minor dings on the drive-side chain stay from chain slap. Paint has also chipped off where screws holding water bottle cages and racks were installed. But overall, the finish is in excellent condition. This is a great frame for someone who wants to build up an easy-going bike for long rides, bad roads and adventure with classic lugged construction.
