60cm Rivendell Simple One Frame Set

For sale is a 60cm Rivendell Simple One frame set. This is Rivendell's take on the single-speed bike and is built with Rivendell's signature lugs. This bike is designed around a 120mm bolt-on rear hub that will take a single-speed freewheel or a fixed gear cog. The fork ends are long enough so that you can easily run a larger gear cog on the flip side of the rear wheel in case you want/need an easier gear. The frame has posts for cantilever or V-brake style brakes. The seat tube is 60cm center-to-center and the top tube measures 59cm center-to-center. The frame is designed so that you can easily clear a 38mm tire, so you get the extra comfort from a cushy tire. This can be built into a great single-speed bike that will do well on pavement or gravel roads, has quick handling, and is easy-going for longer rides as well. There are some minor scratches, including one on the drive-side chain stay near the bottom bracket, one at the juncture of the seat and top tubes and one underneath the bottom bracket shell. Other than that, the finish is in excellent condition.
