58cm Serotta Club Special - 1980

This is a 58cm seat tube x 57cm top tube Serotta Club Special.
I acquired this as a "barn find" about 6 years ago.
The frame was purchase by a local surgeon in 1980. The bike was ridden about 200 miles and then literally left in his barn for 37 years.

The frame is in excellent condition considering it's age. The work on the lugs and crown are as good as any I have seen in person; incredibly thin and crisp. I would assume that this frame, given its age, was built by Ben Serotta himself.

I had intended to restore it completely, but I've never gotten around to it and have since decided to work on other projects. This would be a great piece for any serious US made, vintage bicycle collector or Serotta fan.

The frame will come with the original Campagnolo head set (Record or Nuovo Record), matching Silca pump and pristine Campagnolo pump head. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
