58 cm Rivendell Rambouillet Road Frameset

For sale is a 58cm Rivendell Rambouillet frameset. This is a classic design with the ornate lugs and metal head-tube badge that Rivendell is known for. Whoever buys this frame can build it into a great-handling road bike that is also comfortable for longer rides. There are three sets of water bottle braze-ons, so you can carry plenty of water with you. The rear drop-outs have 132.5 mm spacing, so it will take a 130mm or 135 mm quick-release rear hub. The frame is designed around 57mm reach side pull brakes and a set of compatible Shimano brakes is included in the sale. There is clearance for a 32mm tire in the front and rear. A Shimano one-inch threaded headset is included in the sale as well and is installed. The frame takes a 27.2mm seat post.

The finish on this frame is in good condition but there are some scratches, particularly around the bottom bracket shell and the rear drop-outs. The frame has never been crashed and aside from a few cosmetic issues it is in excellent condition.
