Hi, I'm the MTB Recyclist (@the_mtb_recyclist on Instagram) and I specialize in vintage '90s mountain bikes, particularly steel. This "Ice Blue" 1994 Trek 950 is a beautiful frame, but like all truly beautiful things, it has its flaws!
It's an 18" center-to-top True Temper OC Comp Cro-Moly frame in gorgeous, shiny Ice Blue with Silver Decals (are of which all present and essentially perfect.) It has a 22" top tube and takes a 27.2 mm seat post (the one shown in the photos is NOT INCLUDED.) Rear spacing is 135 mm. There is no evidence of chainsuck and the anti-chainsuck device appears to never have come into contact with a chain. This TIG-welded frame is perfect for a gravel project or retro MTB build!
Unfortunately, there is some corrosion in a very few spots (see the photos) and the bike was stored on a hook in a garage (who DOES that? SMH.) resulting in damage to the paint under the drive side seat stay and seat tube. Also, paint on the seat tube is peeling by the seat post clamp.
