1994 Bruce Gordon Rock n Road Tour, 50 cm, 700c, XT, Racks, Chicken Neck Stem.
1994 Bruce Gordon Rock N’ Road tour.
Tig-welded in Petaluma, CA at the BG shop by Richard Green, who for 25 years welded for NASA before joining Bruce.
Frame and fork are free of any cracks, dents, or dings. The paint however, is thin and has no shortages of blemishes. The original owner said this happened fairly quickly. He also estimated less than 1000 miles on the bike.
Full XT 8 speed groups in excellent shape. Pedals and headset are XT as well!
170mm cranks
36 spoke wheels.
Clearance for at least 44mm (Rene Herse Snoqualmie Pass tires fitted on) tires.
Includes original front and rear racks.
I would expect to repack any bearings, and maybe replace a few cables, though the bike does ride fine. The geometry is excellent, and a quick pass shows, Bruce knew how to build a bike.
Only selling because it just doesn’t fit.
It was made for a 5’11”, 30-3/4” standover person.
50cm CTC seat tube, almost 54 CTT
55cm actual TT thought slightly sloping, I’d call it 56 effective.
110mm stem
Pictured saddle height is 70cm

Question Hi, are you still interested in selling this bike? It’s fantastic.
This one found a home locally. If you do happen to find one in your size, jump on it! They are such good riding bikes.
Question Hello, would you be willing to sell the rack separately?
