Retro Classic, in stunning NON-UV faded paint
This Horizon Linear Fade Attitude has zero UV fade from the harmful sunlight, its epic factory original paint is vibrant, (MC1 Stem/Bar has new paint by Dave Wilkins master Klein Painter in Chehalis, Washington.)
This is an early production MC1 Attitude.
This Horizon Linear Fade MC1 Attitude is from an era when Klein took 28 days to hand make each bike! Beautiful Horizon Linear Fade color.
these Bikes are so unique in cycle world as Klein not only made the frame inhouse but also made the MC1 Mission Control Bar/Stem and Unicrown Fork inhouse. along with internal cable routing and pressed in boxed bottom bracket, made for a very stiff and maneuverable ride. Think predictable nimble Porsche preperformance and handling. many a racer made their mark on an MC1 Attitude on the way to the top podium, including Tinker racing on his #13 Attitude
RACE BRED
“Light, Fast, Rigid, Energy Efficient The Race Bred MC1 Attitude makes an excellent retro rider.
Handmade in 1992 Chehalis, Washington, she had been well kept by its original owner
“Gary Klein did not manufacture bicycles he was an artist that painted in Aluminum”
This Rare Horizon Linear Fade Attitude has it all. Original Klein factory Paint she has none of the terrible UV sun fade that many HLF Klein’s suffer from, no rust, no dents, no paint bubbling, just some typical scrapes from use and storage, some clear coat on the “attitude decal is chipped”
she has the most sought after legendary Klein Unicrown Fork and Mission Control with no paint fade.

Rolling Art
Aside from the beauty of the paint scheme, this ultra-rare Attitude tips the scale at a scant 23 pounds.
See How COOL a vintage Mountain Bike can be
Hand crafted in the original Klein Factory Chehalis, Washington. notice the fat steer tube – it was specially design to fit with Klein's extra-stiff Unicrown Fork and light Mission Control bar Stem
Full Klein Internal cable routing
And please notice how the brake and shift cables go thru the frame and not on the outside, a classic Klein trademark that not only looks better but performs better too. And see how the rear frame the tubing goes from square to round, Gary Klein first developed this concept in 1973 as part of an aluminum bicycle project at MIT.
23 heart pounding Racer
“She Float’s like a butterfly and stings like a bee”
I have taken The Mighty attitude out for a quick ride around our local (paved) roads, she tracks straight, shifts like a fine Swiss watch, and being so light pulls up hills like a frighten mountain goat

23# LIGHT & NIMBLE
This Bike corners like she on rails, has incredible precision steering, you will climb hills like your 16 again
You will love riding your retro Attitude and your biking friends will be so envious. She is ready to hit the trail. and proudly display. you and your friends will be pleasantly surprised when you take your first ride, and you leave them eating your dust
If you want the coolest vintage American Klein MTB with a valuable Horizon Linear Fade custom paint that you won’t meet on the trail or street – and has over the top performance this, is it.

What’s the scoop with Klein’s?
Sure, they're the most beautiful bikes in the world to look at, with this model featuring special smooth welds, specially-manipulated aerospace tubing called "gradient" that makes these the most perfect machines ever built in terms of delivering power to the real wheel and precise control to the front...
Did you know that Klein frames were welded using a special patented process at super low freezing temperature apparently, this imparts something magical to the ride.

Even the least-expensive Klein’s feature tubing and technology found nowhere else, including "gradient" tubing which begins its life as Aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, inspected every single foot for imperfections (bicycle industry standard is every 6 feet), and specially formed, tapered and manipulated into something very special...your new bike frame! Check it out...look at the chainstays of any Klein and the differences will be obvious. Look at the headtube/downtube junction, and the manner in which they've created a special shape for the downtube to ensure a better joint
The differences are everywhere...you can see them, and better yet, you can feel them when you ride. And today, you can buy a superior Klein aluminum bike for pretty much ½ the cost as the inferior wannabes
