1988 Miyata 1000 Luxe Touring Bicycle

Hello beautiful bike nerds!
This is a vintage 1988 Miyata 1000LT, made in Japan. I picked it up from a cool old timer who was retiring to Florida after a lifetime spent working for the MTA. He was the bike's only owner. It's gorgeous but it's just slightly too small for me.
From the original catalogue: "Our Luxe Touring 1000 lets you ride comfortably and efficiently hour after hour. Mile after mile. Year after Year. These bicycles have been refined to create perfect balance between cyclist and cycle. They give you a long wheelbase to flatten out rough roads, and a shallow headtube angle for stability, without sacrificing responsiveness. All the weight we've engineered out of this bicycle can go straight into your panniers. And you still won't experience a frame failure - we guarantee it. This is a full chromoly frame and fork of our strongest spline, triple-butted tubing joined with investment-cast lugs. Easily, this is one of the world's finest touring machines."
