1988 Fuji Tivoli road bike in "dawn blue"
As much as I love the look of this bike, I finally accept it is too big for me. It's been my main bike for the last 8 years. Always gets a lot of compliments. It has its fair share of typical scratches, but presents very well. Most imperfections are only seen from non-drive side. Always kept inside when not riding.
Sizing:
58cm c-t, 32.5" standover, 58cm top tube c-c
I'm 5'10", and it's too big for my liking. Probably best for someone 5'11-6'1". 5'10" should be fine if you like a more aggressive position (I do not).
Original Components:
Tange Infinity tubing (tapered double butted cr-mo)
SR Sakae SX crankset (42/52)
Shimano 7sp freewheel (13-26)
Shimano Light Action Derailleurs and downtube shifters
SR Sakae 60mm stem (1" quill)
Dia Compe Side pull brakes (w/ QR)
SR Laprade Seatpost
HL drop bars
Mavic MA40 wheels, DT stainless double butted spokes, Suntour Sprint hubs
Newer parts:
New Bontrager bar tape
New KMC chain
New shift and brake cables
Newer Panaracer CatalystSport 700x23c tires (Good shape, ~300 miles)
Newer brake pads
More modern Fuji velo saddle
Imperfection notes:
Scratches on inboard side of drive-side chain stay (see picture 16); a stick got caught in the chain last fall causing the chain to break and scratch up the paint on the inside of the chain stay. No rust.
Previous owner touched up the paint on the rim in the last picture. Not super noticeable, and does not affect braking.
