The frame/forkparts have rusty places. Some parts show excessive wear: saddle-top leather (cracks), left crank (crack). Wheels are relatively true. Bearings seem fine.
$2200 IS THE PRICE and we must add sales tax to any tangible purchases like bikes.
We will not be able to use this here at the Marin Museum of Bicycling, so we are offering it for sale, and the proceeds will help the doors open here at the museum. Yes, we are a 100% volunteer run non-profit.

Question Did this bike sell?
Yes, it's sold.
Sorry, I don't have the bike in front of me. But basically, if you're going to ride the bike hard you'll want to replace it. If for show, nobody will notice.
OK, thanks. That's what I needed to know.
Question Can you please describe the crack in the left side crank arm or provide a photo that shows the crack? I appreciate your help.
Question Can I get a discount since my great grandfather built it. I've been trying to find a bike he built.
Please call Marin Museum of Bicycling and leave a message for Joe Breeze.
