WHY WE LOVE IT
- The Stumpjumper is usually touted as the most sought-after of its cousins: the Hardrock, Rockhopper, and Streetstomper.
- This frameset is perfect for your restomod or upgrade project. Build the 90's mtb to atb gravel bike conversion of your dreams! Or slap a single speed drive train and a basket on it for the perfect rad dad bike!
- The double butted chromoly frame is super strong and very light, all the parts pictured together has a weight of only about 8.5 lbs!
- Tire clearance can accommodate 26 x 1.75, 1.95, 2.1, and 2.2 inch tires! Possibly a 2.3 inch tire if it's not knobby.
- There are videos online of Stumpjumpers being converted to 650c or 650b wheelsets. I haven't tried it, but you can!
- Original red paint job may have seen better days, but it also looks well loved, weathered, tried and true. Or look at it this way, this is the perfect candidate for a repaint or respray project!
