1973 FAVORITE "SPECIAL" Chekloslovakian race bike. From behind the Iron Curtain.
Size 57cm center to center
When I got it it had a mix of Campy and Shimano parts. I built it up with mostly 1st gen Shimano Dura-Ace. Including brake set, hubs, shifters and front derailleur. The rear derailleur is a Dura Ace 7400 I think. It has a 600 crank set, and an essentially new old stock 6sp freewheel. It came with a super chopped Campy record seat post (I will include with the bike) which I replaced with a new plain post. It is a 25.4 so not the most common size. The frame is has some rusty spots and peeling chrome, but it rides great. I get it out for tweed rides and the like. Otherwise it hangs on the wall and provides a lot of enjoyable patina. This has been professionally assembled and adjusted.
