Rock Shox Judy XC 80mm Fork for 26" Wheels - 1998 MY, for Parts/Restoration
- 80mm travel, 100mm QR, for 26" wheels
- 1 1/8 straight steerer with about 7 3/4" of steerer tube.
- Has cantilever brake bosses and disc brake tabs

THE GOOD:
- Fork works/operates - still has compression and rebound, fork seals don't appear to leak. Fork has never been rebuilt/serviced.
- Stanchions are clean and free from rust, scratches/gouging
- Fork boots are in nice shape - pliable w/ no dry rot or cracking.
- Decals are all there and are mostly in good shape

THE BAD:
As noted in pictures, there is chipped paint and corrosion on bottom of fork lowers and around the arch - I did some winter commuting and corrosion was caused by salted Michigan roads. I don't know if the lowers are salvageable, so I'm listing this as poor, for parts or restoration.

I believe this fork is a 1998 model year fork. I bought it new from my LBS in 1999 to replace a RS Indy on my xc bike. It was used for midwest XC riding/racing until 2004 and then limited use commuting from 2004 to 2010. It's been in my parts bin since 2010. Fork didn't see heavy use - xc riding and racing with no major jumping, hits, etc.

90's Era vintage bikes seem to be getting popular, so if there is someone out there that needs parts for a build or is able to restore this one, I would be happy to get it out of my parts bin and to a good home.
