Steel rails. Shows some "patina". Also, there is some discoloration from my denim pants and maybe a grease spot from touching it after working on my chain. It's character. Even though it looks distressed it has hardly any serious use.
I want to love this saddle, but no matter how hard I try I just don't get along with leather saddles.
