Resto-purists, avert your attention immediately! I'm stripping my Rock Combo of its original parts to clear the way for a killer project. I'm going "all in" on this one! I intend for the result to be truly one-of-a-kind, and a respectful nod to its original configuration.

Frame and fork is NOT included. All parts range from decent/usable to very good condition, especially for a 35 yr old bike. Front rim brake surface has a small "clunk" at the weld (I assume it can be smoothed), pedal bearings have a bit of play, shifting has some stickiness/resistance, but everything works and the Maxxis tires are in like-new condition. Highlights include the Specialized quill stem, BB-1 dropbars, and "flag" 170mm crankset. I've considered keeping a few bits and pieces, but I understand the real value is to include EVERYTHING. This even means the BB, headset, pedals, chainrings, canti cable hanger, seatpost QRs, etc.

The story with the wheelset is unclear: the front is a Deore XT hub (non-OEM QR) and GXL21 rim - not the original Suntour + GX-23. However, the rear hub is Suntour... but it also has a GXL21 rim. Any insight from Rock Combo experts is welcome and appreciated!

If anything else doesn't seem perfect, feel free to call it out!
