C.Itoh fixed/single speed conversion 57cm

C.Itoh Stainless Steel fixed gear conversion.
This bike came from my uncles shop which went out of business in the '80s. Not sure how they got it but it sat in a barn of left over merchandise until the early 2000s when I stumbled on it. After wiping off a decade plus of grime I discovered the stainless tubes and realized this was not your run of the mill 70's road tank. I converted it to fixed gear/single speed which works great due to horizontal dropouts. I have had a few different bars on here over the years. Currently it has "Major Taylor" style track bars. It is a blast to ride.
When this was made they had not mastered welding stainless tubes, so they cast aluminum lugs around fluted stainless main tubes and steel stays. As such, this bike should last for long time. And presents as an interesting and fun conversation piece.
