Special Needs Tandem Buddy Bike Model # BB102-AL-7. This Adaptive Tandem Bike is an older model (approx.2008) but a specialized bike for special needs kids and smaller adults with Downs Syndrome and other motor function disabilities. The bike is in almost un-ridden condition, as evident in the photographs, including the tire wear, (zero). It features 26" Aluminum Wheels, aluminum Hubs, aluminum brake arms, aluminum fork trees, aluminum frame, aluminum seat posts, aluminum quick release/ adjusters for seats and front wheel, a 7 Speed -in hub- Shimano shifting setup, that shifts super smoothly without jarring, clunking, and derailleur associated issues, dual hand brakes, a Bi-pod Center kickstand, Fully adjustable "Stoker" bars for the front passenger, etc.
It has been fully gone over, fasteners checked and tightened, brakes adjusted, chains checked and lubricated, visual inspection of all parts, and test ridden for shifting function and ride-ability. New front Weinmann 519 Aluminum alloy wheel was installed due to spoke damage in storage. Even includes toe clips for front rider, but without a rider they can hit the ground so they were removed. I Can and will answer any other questions or furnish additional pictures on request. Available for inspection, test ride, anytime at my home. The only cosmetic issue is some discoloration on the chrome front fork tubes, caused by light surface rust in storage that was removed and polished out. The rest of the entire bike is in showroom condition. This bike is rather large, and with the special handlebar set up, is difficult to fit inside my smaller vehicle in one piece...shipping is not offered- this is a local pickup item only, will need a large SUV or Van, trailer, etc...unless arranged separately, which I am willing to talk about, and I am a fully competent wrench turner and can remove handlebars, wheels, etc..and teach you how to re- assemble properly if desired..
This is a highly specialized, VERY unique bike, they are VERY expensive , IF you can find one to buy...retail was north of $3,000 likely, but hard to get pricing info on these bikes...New models can approach $6,000+

Return policy: Due to the nature of this large, unique, specially adaptive bike, I am not offering returns. I am offering it at a very fair price, and representing it 100% accurately and in good faith...but it is a used bike, (but in literally unused condition), but that comes with all the typical caveats of buying anything used as to be expected. Buyers responsibility to inspect and ascertain that it is what I represent it as, which I am more than happy to facilitate. I am just a private owner, not a business, or affiliated with any business.
