Hi, I'm the MTB Recyclist (@the_mtb_recyclist on Instagram) and I specialize in vintage '90s mountain bikes, particularly steel. I have "re-homed" 100+ bikes and this is, by far, the most special I've encountered to date (that I'm reselling and not currently RIDING).
Well, there's a first time for everything, and believe it or not, this is the very first Cannondale I've ever resold. Having spent some time giving this frame some attention readying it for sale, I can see why folks love these bikes so much. The construction is just incredible. And the colorway ... wow. This bike is close to my size, and I'd be building it up myself if I wasn't already the proud owner of far too many vintage MTB's...
But I digress. This 1994 'dale was plastered with stickers when I got it. Fun fact: they do a nice job of preserving factory graphics! Took a while to get them off but holy cow, the end result was so worth the effort. The shine on this thing is unreal. There are nicks and scratches, but no dings or dents (this bike was adult owned since new). The chainstay's only 'damage' is on the reverse side where a sticker actually peeled off some of the paint. No chainsuck or even chain impacts that I can see. There is a small scratch on the drive side seat stay that I've documented in the photos. But other than that, the frame is really in amazing shape.
It's an 18.5" model (C-T) with a 22.5" top tube. Bottom bracket is present and spins very nicely. Decals/graphics are bright and perfect. Seat tube size is 27.2 (the one shown in the photos is not included.) 135mm rear spacing of course. The previous owner had a rear rack at some point, the seat stays are drilled and a mount with rivnuts are installed, looks to be professional work thankfully.

Also, the last photo in the set shows you how I pack and ship bikes. I block the rear triangle, brace the frame in several spots with cardboard, secure it with zip ties, and more. I ship things the way *I* would want to receive them!
