Specialized Bikes

Specialized is an American bike brand founded in 1974 by Mike Sinyard. It started as a company importing Italian bike components but soon began manufacturing its own bikes. In the 1980s, the brand gained popularity with the introduction of the Stumpjumper, the first mass-produced mountain bike. Specialized has since become a household name in the cycling industry and has sponsored many successful professional cyclists, including mountain bikers Ned Overend and Christoph Sauser, road cyclists Tom Boonen and Peter Sagan, and triathletes Mirinda Carfrae and Tim Don. Today, Specialized continues to innovate and produce high-quality bikes for all types of riders.
